Violence Strikes.

This is an earlier version of an illustration I recently did on the subject of 'domestic violence in rural India'.

I do not know what fixation I have with using only black and white in almost all illustrations that I'm doing these days, I guess it is a phase...It is also kind of similar in terms of the composition to something that I did a while back that also happens to be up on the blog in a previous entry and I refuse to disclose which one it is...hehe.

All feedback welcome. Have a good day!

Really powerful, as usual. Makes me really scared and sad for that woman.

I love it. Dont sweat about the black and white. I feel that the black space alone illustrates negitivity, and thus your point. What you think is a phase, is actually just your creative little head telling you the right thing to do. :)
