Portrait is a Funny Word.

Ok. So I've been working hard on quick portraiture. I think I really need to work on it. So alongside my internship, if I can get time, I sit and try to make faces look like people; Or the other way round, erm.. I'm not sure
I start humbly by attempting my sister's portrait, which I have NEVER been able to draw. I show it to her and she blurts out,' I DON't look like this!'
I agree.

So sketching her while she sleeps is just easier. I'm happy, so is she.

Some super quick ones.

And some sketches:)

Joy. I love life, again.

cool work Jas.

I have always enjoyed seeing your work ( pushes me to get back to drawing after a long break)

what have you been using a brush pen?

Wowza! These are incredible. I think you have a wonderful ability to sketch quick portraiture...I'd love to be able to do what you do.

Your use of a brush pen really adds to the life of your sketches.

Oh, and I love the orange-ish paper color too!

Well done.

I am jealous with all the art you've been able to do! I haven't drawn anything in a year and am still finding it difficult to sit down and do something creative. Thanks for all your kind words and encouragement. Will keep watching your blog! :D
