Illustration Friday's this week's topic - Balloon.

All that the wrathful nightmare did;
All the horrible words it uttered;
For her it was mere 'blah-bleh-blah-bleh';
For she did didn't understand, and couldn't bother;
A pencil in one hand, a paintbrush in another;
She set her mind working, drawing strings and filling color;
The poor nightmare yelled out like a buffoon;
And the girl got a handful of balloons!

My first post to Illustration Friday.

'pretend'ing to live a life you never wanted.

Macbeth Witch-Bitch-ness.

This was done for a course 'film language' where we were shown four different versions/adaptations of Shakespeare's Macbeth.For a visual representation assignment i chose to do a re-characterisation of the witches. A part of it I guess is also inspired by Aubrey Beardsley's work which I was exposed to thanks to Akhila. After evolving so much this is what they finally ended up looking like. Someone has interesting things to say about this. Is the cat around?

The Solemn Goodbye

I wish i was nicer. I wish you did not have to leave so soon. You leave me crippled. Eyes well up as i see you walk past the hollow lane;bereft of any hint of an emotion. I promise I will be good.I hope I never let you down. I hope this insecurity does not leave me arching, hiding, laying on my bed. Stay.
